Marshall
Haddock is director of orchestras, music director of
the opera/music theater program, and associate professor
of music. His graduate study was done as recipient of
the prestigious Schwann Fellowship at the University
of Louisville. During that period he also served, for
two seasons, as assistant conductor of the Louisville
Orchestra, noted for their distinguished series of first-edition
recordings of contemporary music. Haddock has studied
conducting with Pierre Monteux, Erich Leinsdorf, Richard
Lert, and Kurt Frederick.
